At Audit New Zealand, we recruit staff in a variety of fields and at all levels. If you’re looking for the next stage in your auditing career, you might be interested in working with us as an Assistant Manager or Audit Manager. Roles we commonly recruit for are:

  • Intern and graduate roles: Aspiring Chartered Accountants who are nearing the end of their studies.
  • Senior Auditors and Assistant Managers: CA-qualified staff looking for variety and responsibility. Staff at this level are fully competent in carrying out an audit and contribute to strategic business initiatives.
  • Audit Managers: Working across our business, Audit Managers ensure that audits are of a high standard. They also mentor and coach staff, and are responsible for practice management.
  • Audit Directors: Audit Directors sign audit opinions on behalf of the Auditor-General, and are responsible for managing client relationships. Audit Directors take active leadership roles and also mentor staff.
  • Assurance specialists: Assurance specialists provide advice to staff and to external clients on matters such as asset management, procurement, and risk management.
  • Administrative professionals: Our team of Executive Assistants, Administrators, and Office Managers are friendly and supportive. They operate as a national team.
  • Corporate services: This group includes professionals in IT, HR, Finance, Communications, Corporate Administration, and Information Services. Corporate services staff support both Audit New Zealand and the Office of the Auditor-General. These jobs are listed on the Auditor-General’s website.
